Composed of three interlocking elements, Idol Earring captures the lower half of the Chimera figure—from her navel to the tip of her tail. The upper section, including her abdomen and the first band of her sculpted tail, is mounted with a post and pin that secures the piece behind the earlobe. From there, the tail continues downward in two parts—joined with a discreet connector that allows the final third to sway independently, mimicking the expected fluidity of a siren’s form. A notch hidden behind the upper body aligns with a protrusion on the tail to prevent shifting, while a stopper anchors the pin for added security. Diamonds are scattered across the surface with restraint, placed to illuminate the form without overpowering its sculptural depth. With each movement, the figure animates—slithering not in threat, but in seduction.
