SHIELD RING

Shield Ring draws its form from the dual nature of protection. Split down the center, one half presents a solid shield—one of the two main figures of the collection—while the other is lined with a refined row of diamonds, delicate but deliberate. This creates an imbalance that draws attention to each half for a different reason: solid, bold gold on one side, and a naive line of light traced by diamonds on the other. Between them, a single diamond rests in a star-shaped setting, suspended across the negative space. Viewed from above, the void between the two halves echoes the outline of an eye, the central diamond its pupil. Flesh shows through the gap, making the wearer part of the symbol—seen and protected in equal measure.

Born of sacred defiance, this design draws from the twin strength of Cosmas and Damian—healers who bore no shield but faith. A tribute to those who guard with conviction, not conquest.
